This microwave looks good, is a bit larger than our previous one, I like the controls better, and the fan choices are great! It has a Boost fan that is great for smoky cooking. The power is good too. No complaints.
Our little local store doesn't have an installer, but had a phone # for someone they recommended. He did a good job.

Do not like the minute buttons.
Can't cook items above 5 minutes. Have to choose 3 minutes and then 3 more minutes to cook something for 6 minutes. And the fact that I can not cook something for so many minutes and so many seconds, such a 1minute 45 seconds.

The microwave itself is a decent value for the price. It has most of the features of my just deceased GE Profile microwave that I had for 18 years, plus a few extra. I did not want to go with the new GE profile because I did not like the round know instead of the touchpad. One of the worst features of it is the very anemic light. Anyone that mfg this should be able to see that the light was horrid. I replaced it with an LED bulb that I bought online. A big improvment without alot of effort. Overall a good microwave so far. I've had it about a month.

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE! We bought it from Costco in February 2021 and by November of 2021, it started having problem. The microwave would run but it was not heating the food. Luckily it was still under warranty so GE sent a technician to come out and fixed the issue. One of the part needs to be replaced and we did not incurred any costs. The same issue started happening again yesterday, microwave runs but does not heat, we called GE and was told that we no longer have warranty so we would be responsible for the entire costs to have it fix. I pointed out that didn't your website stated that a replaced part would have a 5-yr warranty. The rep confirmed that's correct and if it's the issue was caused by the same part, they would replace the part for free. However, we would have to pay for the "trip" cost of $115 + labor for the technician to come, which she can't tell even give us an estimate on how much the labor might be. Seriously? That's ridiculous! We might as well buy a new one and for sure we will not be a buying another GE product again.

Love the features and settings of this microwave. It is exactly what a person needs in a microwave. If I could complain about anything it would be this is my second unit, and the first one only lasted 5 years. It gets constant use so maybe that is why, but I do have an older countertop model microwave that was used just as much and it is probably 12 years old, and still works (different brand) ™¦™¦.. just saying. They don™™t make things like they used to. All in all, I am happy with this microwave.

Microwave is only 4 years old and it stopped heating. Had a repair guy come out to tell me it needed a new circuit board which cost $750. So cheaper to buy a new one! Frustrating that something only four years old has to be replaced.

We got this microwave as a replacement to our profile microwave that had a board go bad. Due to cost, cost, and availability, it wound up being a more convenient and less expensive option to get this one.
Overall, solid. There are differences in the controls that would be good if they could get worked out. But the install was easy enough. Heating, thawing, and presets seem to come in pretty well with expectations.

Just had OTR microwave model JVM7195BL6TS installed yesterday. Opted for this cheaper model after reading all the bad reviews on the more expensive Profile model with the air fryer/convection/microwave. I am a little worried about the handle falling off of this one or it may just stop working after one or two years. They just don™™t make ™em like they used to! My last microwave was a GE, but had no turntable, so it was pretty old, but still worked great. Getting new backsplash, so before they do the tile, I needed to do an update. If there are any problems with this one, I will be sure to post an update. Couldn™™t give it 5 stars yet because I haven™™t had it long enough.

Expensive microwave now does not heat. Tried pulling plug to restart. Same result. Left to fix it ourselves after just 16 months. Unacceptable for an appliance costing this much. Buyer beware. Will GE have the integrity to post this review? We'll see.

Our intent was to order the exact model to replace the 3 year old model that failed. I ordered JVM7195BL1TS and was delivered JVM7195BL6TS. These are NOT the same. So what we thought was the exact same model was not, nor were the instructions; the hardware or the specs on installing. What a nightmare. What should have been easy peasy (old out, new in) was a 4 hour mess. Be careful how you order.

The microwave makes a loud rolling noise from the turntable spinner. Also, it doesn't seem like the exhaust fan works very well. The kitchen gets smokey even with the fan on high.

Needed a smaller sized microwave- this was one of the few options. micro was easy to install. I like the big turntable and the ability to turn it off. Hard to keep the outside clean- you have to scrub hard to get fingerprints and splatter off the door/control pad. Buttons are sometimes hard to find. Seems to take longer to cook things compared to prior micro w/ same wattage

The oven works well. Low powered for its size. The control feel is not good.. they take too much force to work. And who uses a pin Halogen bulb with no reflector as a light ? For an over range lighting it™™s horrible. You have room for a full size LED panel in the case but you dropped this little thing in there ? I had to put a separate magnetic LED panel under there.
